Terms and conditions
Unless stated otherwise the photo shoot will include, the time, the talent and considerable experience of LauraAnne Photography as a professional photographer to set up your shoot, during your session, and to produce a final set of images for you to view at my studio or on my website in a private passworded gallery.
Digital files with licences and online galleries are purchased separately.
Payment
Payment of your session fees can be made by cash, cheque or Bank Transfer. Unless otherwise agreed in writing or email, 25% payment is due at the time of booking and secures your session date and time slot. Your session is not booked or reserved until this deposit has been paid.
Cancellations
Late cancellations result in loss of income, and deposits are non-refundable. Cancelled shoots may be rescheduled at the discretion of LauraAnne Photography
Rescheduling
A second date may be offered if the weather, or a proven positive covid tests or covid isolation causes cancellation, however this is at the discretion of LauraAnne Photography and will be subject to future shoot availability.
Late arrivals
Clients that arrive late cannot expect a session to continue beyond the original allocated booking time, extended sessions will be at the discretion of LauraAnne Photography and subject to availability. Reduced sessions result in less images to choose from.
Refunds and Cancellations
If for health reasons or equipment failure, LauraAnne Photography cannot take part in a booked shoot, clients will be offered a second appointment or full refund.
Communications
All booking information will be strictly via email. While LauraAnne Photography is happy to be contacted in the first instance in any form, only email is suitable for general contact and booking updates. It is the clients responsibility to check their email for any booking updates.
Copyright
LauraAnne Photography retains the copyright of all images taken.
By purchasing a digital file, you are also purchasing the usage rights to reproduce the image as many times as you like. However, this is only for non-profit making use. Please contact LauraAnne Photography if you'd like to discuss commercial licences.
It is a criminal offence to copy, screen grab, scan or reproduce photographs taken during your shoot without written consent by LauraAnne Photography. If you purchase digital files, you are granted usage rights to use your images for personal use. Your purchased files can then be used for sharing with your friends and family on social media sites or for updating model portfolios and printing out for yourself and for your family and friends; photos are not to be altered with editing or filters.
These images are not to be sold or given to any third parties without prior consent by LauraAnne Photography. No images that are LauraAnne Photography copyright may be altered in any way that changes the integrity of the image without prior written consent.
Images taken during photographic sessions may be used by LauraAnne Photography for display or marketing purposes. This could include social media, marketing literature, or galleries on this website. This is for the purpose of promoting my photographic business so clients can see the style of work I create. If you would prefer that your images are not displayed in this way please let me know in writing when you book your photographic session.
Other Considerations
My terms and conditions are simple but necessary so that both you the Client, and LauraAnne Photography have clear expectations of the photo shoot and the images requested. These terms are set out to avoid dispute, and unless agreed otherwise in writing or email, these are the only terms under which LauraAnne Photography trades. Booking a photo shoot signifies your agreement to these terms and conditions.
