what can you expect…..
you can expect to learn about commercial and editorial fashion photography and gain an insight into magazines and publications. you can expect to learn about lighting studio lighting and using studio lights. You can expect to learn the basics of portrait and beauty photography. You can expect to learn about styling a shoot, the etiquette of a shoot and working with a model. (a model will be provided for the duration of your 1:1 session)
what will you learn……
you will:-
get an intro into studio lighting
learn about studio lighting set ups
learn about composition and techniques, and also how colour can be used to style your shoot
learn about model direction and posing
have an understanding of how a portrait/fashion shoot works
have a portfolio review
have life long mentoring and feedback
what will it cost….
Your 1:1 session will last approx 4 hours ( there is always a bit of wriggle room) and you will get all of the above for £400 which includes the cost of a top class model.
or maybe you prefer on location…..
Location shooting offers different challenges, the weather for one and using natural light.
So on a 1:1 on location tuition shoot you will learn:-
how to read natural light
where best to place your model
using your surroundings and the natural environment to best use
learn about composition, leading lines and perspective, different angles and creating a story
you will still have a model provided for you to use as your muse, and you will still get a portfolio review and life long mentoring. The shoot will still be 4 hours with wriggle room and the cost is still £400. At the end you are sure to have images you can and will be proud of and we will wrap it all up with a hot drink and cake somewhere local to where we are shooting.
