What a Year: Looking Back on an Incredible 2025
As we wrap up the year, I’ve been thinking about just how incredible the last twelve months have been. It feels like I’ve barely stopped moving—meeting new clients, shooting in all sorts of locations, and creating photographic memories that I’m genuinely proud of.
One of the best parts has been getting to know so many new faces. Every session comes with its own energy and its own story, and I love being able to capture that. Whether it’s families celebrating something special, individuals stepping in front of the camera for the first time, or returning clients bringing new ideas—those moments have made this year feel full and meaningful.
I’ve also carved out space for a few personal projects, which has been a joy. These shoots let me be super creative, test new ideas, and play around without any rules. That kind of creative freedom always feeds back into my client work and keeps everything fresh.
And now, I’m already looking forward to what next year will bring. New challenges, new projects, and new people to create with—it all feels exciting.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this year. Here’s to more adventures, more storytelling, and even more beautiful moments captured in 2026.
But before we get to 2026, let me share a bit about my last shoot of 2025….
Winter Whites: A Coastal Editorial Brought to Life
I’m excited to share this shoot that felt like a breath of fresh, wintry air. Titled Winter Whites, this editorial was all about celebrating neutral-toned fashion in a beautiful beach setting on one of those crisp, bright winter days that feel almost cinematic.
The idea started during the recce. Walking along the coastline, the light was soft, the sand almost silver, and the sky had that clean winter clarity that makes colours feel calmer and more refined. It was the perfect backdrop for a story built around subtlety, simplicity, and tone-on-tone styling.
Outfit choices played a huge role in shaping the look. We leaned into creamy knits, pale linens, soft wool layers, and textured neutrals that echoed the landscape without blending into it. Everything felt cohesive—nothing too loud or distracting—just a gentle harmony between subject and setting.
On the day of the shoot, everything came together exactly as hoped. The winter sun gave us those long, flattering rays, the breeze added movement, and the beach offered endless pockets of interest. From the styling to the palette to the mood, it all aligned in a way that made the final images feel both serene and impactful.
Winter Whites was a reminder of how powerful simplicity can be—and how beautifully fashion can pair with nature when everything is thoughtfully considered.
I can’t wait to share more from this series soon. So pop back soon and I look forward to seeing some of you again in 2026.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS
